User 1: I give this mini-prep a four star rating. Yes, it’s a great help. You can’t take that away. However, there are things that are still better done by hand. The key is knowing when to use it and what to use it for. If you get those right, you will thorough enjoy it. If you make the wrong assumption that a food processor is supposed to prep everything for you, you’ll be disappointed.
I certainly prefer chopping things like mushrooms with myself as it makes a puree of them. That said, it works great for prep’ing everything pan sauce. After the prep, washing is very easy. That’s splendid. I have also found a way of using it effectively for large meals. Like I pointed earlier, the key is in finding out to use it to deliver the results you want. For me, that sometimes, could mean first doing a coarse chop of certain items and then dumping them into the processor. At other times, I use other ways.
This unit is easy to clean and you don’t run the risk of getting anything into the wrong places while washing since the buttons are sealed in a protective plastic. It’s also great for making purees but I don’t like it for chops. If you are a family of two, this should serve you well. However, if yours is a larger household, you’ll need a larger food processor or just learn to prep things in batches. If you are patient, that will work too.
User 2: This is a very good food processor and gets a five star rating from me. There isn’t much to say other than it just makes those little prep work easier. Add the fact that it is very easy to wash and you’ll see why I give it five stars.
User 3: I love this mini-prep and give it a five star rating. If you want to chop onions with tears, this is it. I use it for chopping onions and hard-cooked eggs. I’d suggest you don’t use it for things like grinding hard cheeses and chopping/mincing herbs.
What makes this unit so desirable is that it’s so easy to use. I also like the way it chops ingredients uniformly. What if you want it pureed? NO problem! All you have to do is pulse it for longer. Read the instruction booklet and you’ll learn how to get the beset result from this unit whether you want to chop or grind.

User 1: If you are looking for a very powerful mini-prep food processor that is easy to clean and will last for many years, buy this one. I initially used it only for easier tasks like chopping onions and things like that until I discovered how powerful the motor is. Now, I use it for processing anything including cooked beef, chicken and fish.
Yes, you don’t expect this to handle large portions of food at a time. But for what portion it can hold, it deals with well unlike many other units that barely chop food and can’t puree. This one does everything. The only compromise is that you have to do a portion at a time if you have large cooking to do. This wouldn’t be a problem at all if you live alone and don’t really have to prepare much at a time.
User 2: I give this unit a five star rating because it does what it should do excellently. Don’t make the mistake of trying to treat it as a processor for very large cooking. That’s NOT what it was designed to do. It is a mini prep and so shouldn’t even be the primary processor for a large household. Once this fact is settled, you will get a lot more from this processor and NOT wear it out by abuse.
I have been using mine for years along with a DLC-7 and can only say that both of them have made my cooking tasks over the years a lot easy — And I really do have a busy kitchen.
I can easily put together top quality sauces in mere minutes. This processor really excels in tasks where the larger ones will be too big and also too powerful to get the right texture (The very powerful motors on larger units can ruin the delicate texture you might want to achieve — This mini processor comes in very useful for such).
Apart from the fact that you get excellent performance from this FP, it’s also very easy to either assemble and disassemble. If you are looking for a unit that will help you in your cooking tasks without the problems that you often encounter with other units then this is perfect.
User 3: I give this mini-prep a five star rating. I normally use this one for small jobs and it has been saving me well for years now. It’s very powerful and I recommend that you hold it down if you are processing hard food items or it might jump. But that said, it does cope well with those too because it has a powerful motor.
One thing I will strongly encourage you to do if you want to get the most out of this unit is ensure that you make out time to read the instructions that come along with it. Of course, you can add your own little twists when you get used to it but reading the manual helps you avoid making mistakes especially in the early days.

Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14-Cup Food Processor — User Reviews

User 1: This is a five-star food processor. I have owned a Cuisinart for over 20 years and when it came time to replace it, I just had to get another Cuisinart. I am happy with this purchase.
It’s beautiful and compliments every other appliance in my kitchen. I am a heavy user so I opted for this particular model since it had the looks and build of the former one which served me well for over 20 years — This one has the build of a unit that will last for long while subjected to heavy use.
This is easy to use and very powerful. I have had pleasant results with everything I have done with it so far — Shredding, slicing and more. And for those who are new to food processors, don’t worry, this one comes with a demonstration video to point you in the right direction.
User 2: For the price I bought mine and for the quality of performance I have seen so far, this is top notch. I, therefore, give it a five star rating. There are a number of things I love about it: A huge workbowl that pretty much holds all I want to process, being dishwasher safe and the fact that it’s built to last. If you doubt the last part, ask anyone who owns a Cuisinart food processor.
User 3: There are issues with this food processor quite alright: It’s NOT the easiest thing to clean out, it can be aggravating to removing the pusher to add extra ingredients but you can’t take away the fact that this thing is simply powerful. Throw anything at it and it will just keep working.
Some other things I love about this unit: It works quietly. It’s very beautiful and you’ll love leaving it on the countertop. The large bowl and the large feed shoot are also good.
Apart from the issues I pointed out earlier, this is a very good product. If you can live with them or have a work around them, then this is definitely a food processor you should buy.
User 4: If you want a powerful food processor, this is it. However, I have to rate it low because of the annoyance factors that come with it like the fact that it won’t work if you miss anything by a slight bit (All in the name of safety). I think they should have figured a better way of making it safe without having you pulling your hair looking for what you didn’t align correctly in order to make it start.
Another annoyance factor has to do with feed tube. It is so small that you’d be compelled to stop the machine unless you are just adding tiny bits of vegetable or things like that.
That said, It works well and has raw power. It’s also a good thing that it is dishwasher safe. The capacity is huge and will serve you well even if yours is a large family. You can easily hold everything you want to prep. There’s simply nothing that this machine can’t slice, chop, shred or puree. It’s powerful. Just make sure you are very patient with it to get it to work and you’ll have your prep done faster than you think.
This machine is for those who are patient in setting things up. If you are a scatter-brain and/or are usually in a haste (In such state of mind you’ll mumble things up and it won’t even start) this isn’t for you.

Cuisinart DFP-7BC 7-Cup Food Processor — User Reviews
Before you buy the Cuisinart DFP-7BC 7-Cup Food Processor, read what current users have to say in these reviews (If you want to read product description, specs and features, click any link within this post)…
User 1: I give this FP a five star rating. I use mine primarily for chopping vegetable or making ground beef. I love this unit because it is powerful and quiet. I don’t like noisy processors. I love the paddle switch and don’t really like the “modern switch”. Funny as it may sound, the paddle switch is actually the defining factor for me given that the basics are covered.
User 2: I give this a five star rating since this is a great product. You may read complaints of problems with the feeder pusher. Some folks claim that you can’t bring it out without having to remove the whole top. I think the problem those people have really is that they’ve NOT really taken the time to read the instructions. If they do, they’ll see that this isn’t a problem in any way but a very good feature.
User 3: I checked reviews from a top review site before I bought the Cuisinart DFP-7BC. They gave it a top rating and, now that I have used it for sometime, I couldn’t agree more. It does its job very well. Working vegetables is easy since you don’t have to chop them down to smaller pieces first thanks to the wide opening it has. This is the best food processor I have ever bought. It comes highly recommended by me.
User 4: This also gets a five star rating from me. It can take whatever you throw at it and bring it out a lot better. It is a solid machine. We used it roughly when in our college apartment and it held its own. That can only tell you one thing: It can take whatever you can put it through in your kitchen.
User 5: I like it but the safety features make it difficult to use — You can’t take the pusher part out totally from the feed tube. I consider this to be a setback instead of an improvement. I had to return mine for another 7-cup processor that didn’t give me this headache.
User 6: This is a very nice machine. What caught my interest the most was how quietly the motor runs. It also has a solid build which means you don’t have it bouncing on the countertop like lightweights.
I also suggest that you take the time to understand the manual. It will spare you a lot of pain and make you get the best out of this food processor. If you don’t you will only end up complaining (But it won’t be because the product is underperforming but because you don’t know how to use it right).

Cuisinart DFP-3 Handy Prep 3-Cup Food Processor — User Reviews
Before you buy the Cuisinart DFP-3 Handy Prep 3-Cup Food Processor, read these reviews from real users as they will help you make a more informed purchase decision (If you want to read product description, specs and features, click any link within this post)…
User 1: This is good value for money based on value-to-price ratio. This is very easy to piece together especially for those who have owned any food processor from Cuisinart. I also consider it a major advantage that it is dishwasher safe. It works well, is easy to operate and just right for our family of two. However, I must point out certain things I feel could be better…
The plastic most of the pieces are made of don’t look solid. They look vulnerable. Also, it is my opinion that the shredding blade does a better job of pulverizing a number of ingredients far better than shredding. I also think having more slicing disc sizes and achopping blade would be good additions
But in spite of these, it is definitely good value for money.
User 2: I consider this an average processor. If you are looking for an exceptional unit, continue your search. I say this because you’ll NOT get the right result if you try to process anything more than a cup’s worth. My experience is that you the bottom is pulverize while the top has stuff that’s almost unchopped. If you want to get good results while chopping you have to process a little at time (This can be time-consuming). However, if you want complete puree, it does a great job.
At the moment, it works for me. But I know that I will have to upgrade once my food processing requirements increase.
User 3: I consider this great value for the price I got it. It is well made and deserves the five star rating I give it. It is a compact food process that does NOT take up counter space. I like the multipurpose blade more than the slicing blade and the shredding blade. It works better for me so I use it almost exclusively.
I already love this appliance so much I am well on course to buy one of the larger models that can handle much more.
User 4: My old but long-serving food processor had developed cracks for I decided to buy another one. Since I already had a good experience with Cuisinart, it was natural that I will go for another of their processors. However, I wanted something smaller than my previous unit and decided to try the Cuisinart DFP-3. I must tell you that I am very happy with my purchase.
Based on my experience with a bigger model, it does chop and shred as efficiently. And if you add the fact that it costs less then you’ll see why I am very happy to give it a five star rating.

Cuisinart CH-4DC Elite Collection 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder, Die Cast — Indepth User Reviews
Before you buy the Cuisinart CH-4DC Elite Collection 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder, read these reviews from real users (They will help you make a more informed purchase decision)…
For folks who have NOT yet gone though this product’s description, specs and features; you can do so by visiting any of the links within this post). Now let’s see what users have to say about this food processor…
User 1: This one gets a five star rating from me. If you are looking for a small food processor for those little tasks that you don’t want to use a big machine for, this is it. One very thing about it is that it does NOT over process your food since it stops immediately you hit stop. It doesn’t matter whether you want puree onion, grind nuts or any other task, it gets it done quite well.
User 2: Even though I am NOT a professional cook, I do cook very often. As far as I can say, this product is a good midpoint between the full-fledged food processor and the hand chopper. It does what it should do very well. I also love the fact that it is solid (I own the die-cast model).
The other things I like about it are: It’s easy to clean. It’s easy to use. It isn’t as loud as other units. It’s good and I do recommend it.
User 3: It was all I hoped for in a small unit. It works fast and is a lot quieter than what we have used in the past. It’s also very easy to clean since it can be disassembled very easily. From its look and feel, I think it would last for a long time.
User 4: I give this appliance a five star rating as it does everything I want from a unit such as this. Yes, it doesn’t cost a lot of money but I always take my time to check anything I buy to ensure it does exactly what I want — And this does.
It is very easy to assemble. It is easy to use. It does food processing just the way I like it. It is easy to clean. If you are looking for a unit that cuts stuff quickly, this is it.
I must point out, though, that it took me a little while to learn how to get the very best from it. That is, knowing whether to use the “Pulse” or “Chop” function. Once I got that right, my ingredients always came out exactly the way I want them.
User 5: The Cuisinart CH-4DC Elite works well but I definitely can’t say it works perfectly based on my experience. If you want to get the best out of it, use it in short pulses. Also, make sure you only work on small batches of food if you want things chopped right. For me, this is an annoyance since it increases my work load. Another thing I think you should be aware of is that you might have uneven chops when working things like chicken or onions.
User 6: If you had an earlier model, you’ll agree with me that this is definitely an improvement. One feature that I find very useful is the locking blade feature. If you are concerned about safety when pouring then this would excite you. For me, this is enough reason to upgrade to this model. I am happy with this processor.
User 7: This is my first food processor and I must say I am already in love with it. I don’t take mine in. I live it on the counter. It’s cute and doesn’t take up much space either. It’s also very easy to clean and operate. You don’t have to deal with anything complicated since there are only two settings to choose from.
For the time I have used it, it doesn’t show any signs of fragility and looks like stuff that will last for a long time.
